SS dagger belonging to SS Hauptsturmfuhrer Werner Thoms. His SS number is 1232 and is engraved on the tang nut along with his initials (WT) on the top. The chain is a Type 1. The background burnishing on the chain links is in beautiful condition. Excellent condition throughout including blade which has a dark motto and most of the original crossgrain. Full documentation and research provided by Ross Kelbaugh. The SS file provided is 98 pages not including Ross's research file.
An SS dagger in this condition with an extensive SS officer's file does not come on the market from a private collector very often. Here is your chance to get a first class WWII SS dagger with 98 pages of provenance from a world class researcher.
