Description: Ww2 original E.F Horster dagger with the rarer aluminium fittings. Bright EF Horster blade in a nice thin layer of grease.
The fittings are just about undamaged showing little damage. The crossguard has even managed to hold some kind of patina inbetween the ridges which isnt usually seen on any aluminium as its doesnt stick easily. The gilding to the swastikas is 100% with no marks or loss of colour.
The Scabbard leather shows the normal dings and hits from where the chain clip. with a nice patina around the throat.
The dagger appears to have never been apart as the pommel feels really set. It could be undone with a tool but I personally havent or wouldnt recommend touching it.
All in all its a cracking original piece and also by Alcosso so you really cant go wrong!
Sadly Unforseen circumstances forces sale of my precious collection.
I can ship anywhere and I will take paypal.
Please contact me to arrange viewing. I work in suffolk so this area would be best for me during the day however im very flexible evenings and weekends.

4 january 13: Since writing the ad I have found out the crossguard and pommel is non-magnetic. This must mean the fittings are nickel rather than plated. This would also answer why there is no flaking or bubbling which is usally seen on these daggers.
