Good condition ring.
Yes the second one is mint. I suppose mine is in a relic condition.

I like the one you are looking at Chris. Seems to be honest wear. These rings are always going to be controversial because of the many variations/etc, but I still love the looks of them
Variety indeed...Here's a period advertisement offering rings...
cheers, Glenn
I can see no problems with this ring. It's a canteen ring, most likely, although, as Glenn shows it could have come from any one of many many sources. It's condition is not relic-it is simply "worn" or "used". I would buy it myself. Butschek knows his stuff.

If I recall, Klaus mentioned that he picked these rings up plus other bits of militaria like canteens and buckles etc. at a recent 'yard sale'/'car boot'/bric-a-brac/flea market weekend held in a city I forget the name of in Germany around a fortnight ago.

Glenn i am astonished with the picture you have posted. How did yo find it? Amazing.
The maker is the one of the rings in posts #20 & #21.
I have bought another skull ring last year and it looks like the 4th from the top on the photo you posted.

Hi Ned. The website update stated that the rings came from a collection about a month ago. He had a picture of them were the collector kept them in a nice case.
