ANY ideas on this ring???

Hello everyone!,
I have this ring that by no means do i think(well i kinda do!) it's WW2 but only wishful thinking!
I know it looks like a normal signet ring but the "initials" are very odd,Look's like a MJ BUT CAN IT BE A SYMBOL? It has a danish hallmark w/a A900 silver content(A =argent,silver) and the styling of ring is late 30's early 40's design.All this leads me to HOPE it is some kind of military ring..I had bought it w/other military items(all U.S.),a CIB,a couple patches,etc.Seller had no info.ANY HELP will be GREATLY appreciated!!! THANKS ALL!!!

Seems to be just a signet ring from 1930-ies. MJ is just a owners monogram.
