Similar ones are well known from the WWI period.
I would say ring is 4 Piece made. Band made of brass and soldered on the 2 iron crosses (i would say enamel) and the plate.
The plate should show the Emblem of an nilitary unit.

A friend who owns it is trying to figure out where to place it and he's leaning towards 10 Panzer Division from WWII as apparently they had similar with the T in the emblem.

Hm, from the ground this rings are typical WWI period ones, but wearing in the WWII period of course was possible.
