Bretagna kriegsmarine ring

I found some more rings in a place near Fiume where lot of kriegsmarine personell surrender to Yugoslav Partisans. One of them had Bretagne amblem like on this pictures. what coud it be?What is connection between kriegsmarine and Bretagne. On Waf there is something about that,those pictures are from there,but they dont know.

I will have better pictures in few hours. On left side ids interesting ring with oak leafs and some initials.

I have to say that the cap emblem looks to have a sheiled in the center with animals either side and as you say is probably a city coat of arms, but the ring looks to have monogram on it and does not look the same at all, rather it looks like 3 intertwined letters.

Its' not St Nazaire, Lorient, Brest...Wait

So this insignia is from the French bombing group Bretagne.
Some Germans took it during the war. Surely the 6 th group of submarines. Now the rings...
