German SS large officers ring???

hello, ok so i got this from my fauther durring christmas. i beleive its a ww2 german SS officers ring but not shure what it is specificly. If anybody can give me some information on what it is exactly and the value of the ring it would be much appreciated!

I am sorry to say that the ring is a fantasy reproduction. The construction is not up to either the style or quality of a period ring.

Sorry, Jamie-but this ring is a fairly commonly seen fantasy ring from Eastern Europe. It's definitely not even an inexpensive canteen type ring, but pure post-war. Was nice of your dad to give it to you as a gift, nonetheless. William

Im afraid i have to agree, i think the one thing that would cast doubt straight away with me was the army eagle on an SS ring, not withstanding the construction
