Kreigsmarine U boat ring: real or not? Please help
Hi guys Ive brought items off this person before and he now has a uboat ring for sale.
I,m trying to find info on the ring but their doesnt appear to be much around.
From what I understand these rings are faked alot.
The seller assures me that its 101% orginal and like I said he,s allways been honest in other dealings.
He wants $130.00 for it....any thoughts on ring would be appreciated.
Rgds Pete.

Re: Kreigs uboat ring real or not??please help
I've seen these "U-Boot" rings around now for near 50 years and not one has ever been genuine. I think this ring was about one of the first "Nazi Rings" made for people back in the 60's and have been made ever since. That, and the Luftwaffe bomber airplane "Gegen Engeland" ring. About the only Older ring I can think of, off the top of my head, might be the horned Viking one.

Re: Kreigs uboat ring real or not??please help
personally i wouldn't mind a fake ring for cheap because then i would have no fear of ruining it

Re: Kreigs uboat ring real or not??please help
$15-$20 maybe - $130 is not cheap for a fake. And I believe 'England'
is spelled the same in German.........

Hi Guys,
You've just reminded me Will, about the 'Gegen Engelland' Luftwaffe ring featuring the bomber over the channel and white cliffs of Dover. I bought it from Nicholas Morigi Regalia around 20 odd years ago for about £15.
I just took a look on his site and the U-Boat ring is there too. £39.95 in solid silver, so yes, it's a proven fake.
