From the ground a well known period pattern of the Frey Company.
It exists in differnt luft badge plates. Observer, paratropper and this pilots one.
Rather rare to get Patterns, but very good fakes around.

In my opinion this is a very good made, but cast, fake. Look at the casting pearls bachsite plate,
Originals are die struck.

I must admit, at first glance it looked ok, and the wear seems correct. But I think Odal is right.

The fakes are getting better and better. The thieves are starting to put actual Effort into their products. Not a good sign for collectors...
