Thank you, Odal: already done! But no reply from them as yet.. I will wait with returning it until they have stated their expert opinion. But I know that yours weighs very heavy and is almost certainly correct, unfortunately, LOL! Now let's just hope this seller is as honest as he and others said he was... otherwise I will expose his name everywhere, attached to a warning!!

A very rare fake? When, Why? How? LOL! :-D

I would be interested to hear what Sergey Bodrov has to say about this.

Yep, I agree with Odal. For me this ring is red flag. If from first photos there can be a chance, but from last - no chance. There is clearly seen the casting artifacts.
-
Sigh... well, it's a shame! Would have loved for this to be real, of course: it's disappointing.
Question: it seems old, and nobody has ever seen one quite like it. A single piece. Any guesses as to origin?
Thanks,
Mark

Are you going to ask the seller for a refund?
-
What is happening with this ring? Have you contacted Maris about a refund?

OK sorry guys, I didn't get an email notification about your replies. Yes, Maris will issue a refund. I have heard from other sources this is an interesting ring, but certainly post war, only just. Possibly even a collector's item, IF you collect non-period stuff like that... problem is, I want a WWII TK ring, LOL! :-)

Yeps, he will refund it he says...

Hi Germanski,
That ring which you have posted is some kind of a biker ring or something like that. It even has those red zircons as eyeballs. That ring has nothing to do with Third Reich era IMO.
Best regards,
Franko
