    What has been said above.

    Nothing in the ring's design implies a German and/or miitary connection.

    (Besides, if such a thing as a Wehrmacht radioman's "canteen ring" exists, it would be far more likely to include the traditional "lightning bolts" for branch-related symbolism rather than a pair of headphones.)
