Hi. I don’t think that’s a remake of anything from the Third Reich. I think it’s a post-war fantasy ring. Sorry.
The skull does indeed look like that used by the Lusitania Legion but, as you probably know, this unit was not German and I think was disbanded a long time before WWII. See link below:
Skull insignia for Spanish Lusitania cavalry regiment

Here's a Condor Legion skull ring from my collection. Panzer crewman's. One of my favourites. Hope you like it. I posted other LC rings previously. Go to:

Nice ring, Stephen. As for Germanski's, it is a fantasy piece unfortunately.

MG.

Hi Stephen,
Many Thanks I like Y LC Rings -fortunately I don't bought this Ring
still puzzel about the "Lusitania Skull" & the "IV/1942" Date
I know this Regiment was disbanded (but lived on in the
Spanish Legion Tercios?) so - it could be a "Tradition" Ring
originating By Spanish "Division AZUL" fighting on the Easter Front?
even Legionary Belt Buckles found there & other Spanish Items!
Maybe there is some more on that? Best Germanski

Hi Germanski,
As noted above by Migobeego and me, the ring you posted has no real significance. It's a post-war fantasy ring. I don't believe that this design ever existed in reality.
Cheers,
Stephen
