Oh , ok . I wasn't aware that SS Einsatzgruppe officers were that remorseful . Thanks for your help .

I don't think they were remorseful - just practical!

Sorry, I think this ring is bad too. The tiny SS runes used as a proof mark to the inside of the ring would instantly condem it. The SS did not make rings like this and would not allow a private maker to use this "proof mark" either.

    Cheers, Ade.

    Dimas-
The artistic style does not look like anything from the period. Further, as Ade mentioned, the markings are not believable. The SS runes were made large to entrap an inexperienced collector. Sorry, but I would never own this ring as part of my collection.

You´re right. RZM , SS and DRGM markings in rings damn them to fakes and bogus ones. No real pre ´45 ring had this markings.

At the moment i have 36 WWII rings and about 20 WWI rings. But that doesn´t make me to a pro. I´m learning everyday, from Ade, Benten, Gaspare and co. I love reading about new rings, about faults that indicate a ring is a fake. I did that from september last year until now, about one hour per day and therefore got a little knowledge. Especially Gaspare teached me a lot!! Pics will come the next days, when i´m not working.
