SS honor ring, your opinion

Dear members,


An old friend of mine has this SS Honor ring, he said he purchased it more than 40 years ago.
The old man does not know how to use internet so he asked me to do some research about this ring.

For my non-expert eyes, it looks nice and it is in very good shape.
The weight is 8.29 grams.
There is no name nor date engraved in the ring; only H.Himmler signature.

Please could you give me any opinion about it, is there any chance it is a genuine one ?

One look at the engraving is enough to tell it's fake:

All originals had the "S. lb. [surname] [date] H. Himmler" engraving; none had a hallmark.

These rings are heavily faked and have been reproduced since the 1960s.

Sorry but, even to my inexpert eyes regarding Honour Rings, that’s a dud.
