I agree about being the "best copies of anything I've ever seen." I purchased an SS Ehrenring (S. Lb Brumm) from someone in Belgium, and it was EXTREMELY convincing. Fortunately, I didn't pay a tremendous amount for it. I only found out it was a fake after locating the owner of the REAL ring (S. Lb. Brumm). Needless to say, I was disappointed, but not overly shocked. The folks that are making these are very gifted. I had mine "authenticated" by a respected Jeweler on the date of construction, metal content, etc. Very convincing. I sold mine to a gentleman with the EXPRESS KNOWLEDGE that it was a repro, and he happily gave me $200. Turns out some of the quality repros made of good silver are still "relatively" valuable, but nothing in comparison to the real thing.
gorrelljmg,
Theres a guy who is coming to the Militaria show here in Atlanta selling his "honor" rings for $26.00 any size you want, any year you want..
They are ths SAME exact weight, and thickness as origionals, and made with pure silver.. Basicaly we paid for the price of silver..
I have one for my finger that I like to wear at the militaria shows here..

If there's nothing offensive, why close any thread? Surely new information, insight, or comments of value may come along? Just a thought.

Just feel the comments seem to be going in circles. Don't want this amazing information to be ruined by this. Just my opinion as well.
As well Adrian has already said if new inforamtion comes forward to contact them and it would be reopened.

I understand the talking in circles part and no disrespect to you or anyone else, but the freedom of speech thing is catchy with me. I haven't seen other threads closed until new information comes along so I though to ask the question. Of course now the thread is off topic/op.
