SS TK Ring with Weird Engraving

Article about: Hi guys, does this one here stand a chance? I personally find the engraving/inscription around the outer edge phony, but what do you say?

Hi William, if I may ask, out of the pictures, do you like what you see?

I am not seeing anything fake about it. It has been repaired, but this is not necessarily a detriment. It looks to me, and my eyes, to be a period ring.

So now I had the time and the chance to make a handinspection of this discussed skull ring sent from Maxim to me and I made some more pics too.
I also had it under a microscope.
I didn`t made any works on it and i don`t cleaned it up.
    My results:

Please Maxim, if I am wrong in any case, feel free to correct me.

Skull ring, silver, tested by me with the usual testing acid.
    Weight about 2,7 gramm.
Rather small size with about 18 mm diameter.
Original seam at opposite of plate, good visible and well made.
This ring shows comfort signs of wearing and had a real heavy repair.
So it is made from overall at least 3 materials.
Silver of the ring, solder from original seam and a lot of solder from the repair.
For me it looks the main repair outside was made inside the ornaments of the shoulders and inside
covering large parts of the band inside.
Outside the deeper sections of the ornaments partially are filled with solder.
Here a a lot of pittings in the solder (not in the silver of the ring) visible.
Inside, I told it, large parts of the band are covered too with this soldering material. Here are also pittings
    and large scars present.
Additionally to this the ring shows a lot of small solder beads from soldering with to much heat.

All in all a good made semi-professionel repair-job. And i think after this repair
blackened with acid and then the arised Areas polished,

The primal ring itself shows for me no more visible marks of the manufacturing process.
So i am sorry, for me it could be die struck or cast.
The only fault i see and can`t explain, is a rather large hole end of one of the bones beside the skull.
But this is not a casting fault.

    At the end?
For me a complete unusal ring. No common pattern with a exreme repair.

    Fake or not?
    Sorry, i can`t say
For sure a ring you have to believe in if buying.

    Thanks
and sorry for my not so good english

In some cases it is simple not possible.

But speaking for my person, i don`t want to have a ring in collection in that i am not to 100 % sure.
