Weitze or Niemann are not in any cases the specialists in rings. You can see this because Weitze, although he is an honest dealer, sometimes offers fakes too.by Eismeerfront

Of course i i have heard and seen. But till now never in this way on a silver ring.
I am not real experienced in dug rings. I have the luck to live here in Grmany, so there are other sources to get my rings.
But i real would like to learn more about dug ones, so for me that is a real interesting thread.
You maybe have other examples for this kind of corrosion on noble metal?

I never wanted to attack you in person.
Such corrosion on silver in my knowledge is only possible in the case of contact with nitric acid more than 30 %.
