TR Souvenir and or Trench Art ring

Hello All,
here is one of two rings that I was given this weekend.
I will show the other one under its own heading.

So what I believe I have is a silver ring that has been made from an old Hindenburg 5 Marks piece.

The external face shows the head and shoulders of the eagle and lettering Deutsches Reich whilst the inside has the profile of Hindenburg with his title and birth and death dates.

On one edge the coin has been turned so that the edge inscription can be seen whilst the other side tapers down to a more comfortable narrow edge.

Although I can never prove that it was worn by a TR soldier it is a nice piece

Any opinions appreciated.

I guess it leaves a question mark over the Parisian ring that came with it as well.

People have been making these rings out of coins for years. My late father in law used to have a few two-shilling pieces which he had hammered over and fashioned into rings during the last war. Regardless of when they were done, it shows craftsmanship.
