    Default Unknown ring.

    Hello everyone,
I couldn't find a part in the forum where you could post your rings.
I have a friend whose grandfather brought this ring back from the war. He wants to know if it's original and if a Heer soldier wore it or SS, luftwaffe, Kreigsmarine etc. All thoughts on the ring are welcome.
    Thanks,
    Callum.

I'm way new at this but I'd say at best it was a personal purchase.
Just not enough wear on the parts that should by all rights be very worn
    even with minimal use.

OK, I was little to know help ... IMHO.

Considering it's got the Roman 'Fasces' symbol over the Swaz i'd suggest that it's actually an Italian Fascist piece, if original of course.

hi callum, looks like it could be an original ring to me , the combination of symbols could point to it being made in north africa by a local arab silversmith ,a very common pratice with afrika korps/italian troops. ....cheers paul

I think Ned and Paul are correct - it's a Fascist/Nazi collaboration emblem,
possibly a homemade piece or a souvenir. It seems though, like it may
be made of aluminum as there is no darkening or tarnishing
    in the recesses.

Is it marked inside, and is there any weight to it ?
    Regards,

    Steve.

Nice original ring. I have seen others like it before. These are Italian made.

Would anyone be able to value it for me?
