Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum so be gentle!
Sorry to bring up an old post, but I dug a skull ring metal detecting last year here in the UK. It looks war period to me, but as I know nothing about skull rings, I thought I'd ask on here as you all know what your talking about
Heres some pictures anyway....
It isn't silver or gold, it has no hallmarks or makers marks at all.
If you need anymore info to ID it please let me know, I look forward to hearing if I have found a decent war relic or not!
Thanks all

Hi scout, thanks for the welcome I use the Garrett Ace 250 with the DD search coil, fantastic machine I think, pulls up loads from the ground.
Or does anybody else know anything about this ring? I'm intrigued now
Just dropped you a PM.
But basically these were available to for any German soldier to buy regardless of rank or arm of service.
Cheers, Ade.
