    Two buttons both approx. 15/16 inch diameter, would be for the tunic, The George VI is by Pitt & Co and the Large Crown is by Firmin.

    The George the VI is a button I have on time periode uniforms.
    The crown can be police or prison staff.
    Always looking for Belgian Congo stuff!

    The crown over George VI cypher is Corps of Royal Military Police and Royal Provost Staff Corps. It would date to his reign, 1937 to 1953, though sometimes they can be used well passed the official date.
