    Hi Guys,
Thanks for the great info so far on this Gym! I will attach some pictures of the shoulderboard loop attachemnt just for reference in this thread.
One thing I meant to ask was about the internal I.D. pocket usually seen on jackets from around '48 onwards...this one doesn't have the I.D. pocket, so would it date the jacket to around '46-'47 or do you think it is early '50ish?

One last question, though not related to the gym in this thread.....is the pocket construction shown below considered wartime?

    Thanks,
    Brett

Thanks Richie for the extra info!

What is your opinion of the pocket I posted above? Would this be considered war time construction?

I now see that it is the gymnasterka for sale by our associate Lars. Nice item and IMO, WWII vintage.

    HI Dimas,
I have taken some extra pictures, so I hope they are okay for you. Let me know if you need any more.
The colour in the last 3 is not accurate as I had to take the pictures under artificial light.

This is a great thread. I like reproducing these for reenactors and the closeup photos are wonderful reference. Thank you gentlemen.
