22mm - all steel - green paint - illegibly marked
Must have missed this one first time around. The material on the back sure looks like it came from an American Lend-Lease supplied meat can.

Can anyone suggest a likely source for wooden or aluminium button replacements for winter padded jacket such as those illustrated below?

I am looking for three replacements in either same or mixed material as long as they are WWII period. Any help will be very much appreciated...

    Hello,

    Very nice thread.

Here are some 14mm buttons I believe to be WW2 or at least for officier after Septembre 44

    Hi.

Rare NKVD and Estonian 1940-41 made 22 mm buttons.
Where the NKVD buttons in use before and early in the war or throughout the conflict? I mean according to the regulation.
The black steel buttons have letters "TREMACC". Cant see anything else. Sounds familiar but I can't recall. Looks pre war/war time for me.
Are the ones with anchors 1920-s ealry 30-s Navy? They have same shank fixing like the NKVD ones.
And one shiny 23 mm one. A war time button or post war?
    Regards
    K.
