Hello Natjer,
I think we are all in agreement with this M35-43 that are duly described on https://www.warrelics.eu/forum/unifo...1/#post1049193.
On this extend, they will be better on the other post.
Considering the pockets, that are the purpose of this thread, you will notice that they all have external pockets that tend to prove that the basis is a standard M35
Do you have photos of your own gym with Inside Pocket so we can try to qualify them.
Are they looking like the one I did post before?
We can only help you if you help us
In advance thank you for your answer.
Best regards
Bruno

The gym looks almost identical to the lend lease M-43 gyms on the espenlaub website. The collar looks original to the gym with no evidence of re-stitching. Both pockets look the same inside and outside. The added patch packets are sewn on with brown thread. I believe it to be a transitional M35 to M43 gym. I am not a Soviet insignia expert but it looks consistent with other examples I have seen posted. The crossed rifles look like more recent add-ons. The buttons are replace but original. The pockets and insignia have been on a long time. As I said before I have had it for about 19 years, it has not been in a collection and came straight from the former USSR. It cost me be less than 200 dollars at the time.

Hi Natjer ,
One thing is sure, this is not a 35 Gymnasterka .

It seems to me that it started out as an M43 but ended up being modified to resemble an M35 - most likely as a film / "theatre" costume.
