The wearing of captured enemy clothing would be dangerous (Friendly fire risk) and not something the Red Army would have allowed from a political viewpoint either.
Cheers, Ade.

Hello,
Yes : (click on pictures for better view)
"Group demolition of the guerrilla unit named Khrushchev had blown up the bridge in the Ukraine. The bridge was blown up in the moment of passage through it of enemy equipment. The guerrillas dressed in captured German winter camouflage jackets Wintertarnanzug. Jacket-sided - one side camouflage other - white."
Also with more captured clothes
Thank you for the photos and information Bagration.
My pleasure.
2 documents dated 16 and 17 April 1944 - the responce from the units to their superiors about uniform regulation enforcement.
"To the head of 1st department of 28 Gu. Rifle Division
On your [order] #0586 issued 15.04.1944, I inform, that the uniform items of the hostile army, policemen and civil items have been removed from the company's personel.
The personnel has been informed about illegality of use of the aforementioned items."
A report with almost identical content from HQ of 89 Gu.RR to 28 Gu.RD.
But the life is not driven by regulations...
"Cipher message #936
from 47 Army HQ issued 08.05.1945 @03:23
accepted 08.05.1945 @3:35; accepted for encryption 08.05.1945 @04:00
To all the Corps and rear units commanders with the copy to the Commander of the Front HQ.
*) There have been registered many cases of dress code violations by army's personnel in recent period: civil clothes, mixed uniforms, and German army uniform.
I ORDER:1) To convey the dress code regulation to whole officer corps, and demand their meticulous adherence.
2) All the civil dress items, as well as German army uniforms are to be immediately removed and delivered to the trophy depots.
3) All the commanders are to inspect their units during the period 8-10 May 1945."
Trophy Depots? That sounds very interesting!
This also reminds me of a German regulation that forbade the wearing of captured Soviet fir hats well on leave back in Germany.
I guess no government likes to see the enemy with better kit.
Great photos and information thanks for sharing
A very interesting thread, until now the only German items i had seen Soviet troops wearing were belts and modified buckles!..
Thanks for this document and translation Igor !
