it's a good Gymnasterka Lend and Lense or post war customised, faked. The button seem to be for me good. And the wound stripes faked.

I can give my opinion on it.

Overall i think it looks strange and pieced together so to speak. I have never seen so much of the white "hand/rough" stitching on WW2 period Gym's. I have seen it on trousers/Galiffe. Especially on pre-war ones. Maybe it's the pics, but the cuffs look shorter than normal. The collar also look a bit strange. For WW2 i would think the buttons should be metal and not plastic. Wait for more opinions

I had a WW2 pilot's Gym i have sold now. I will post some pics for comparison. The wound stripes on my Gym is made by the Officer himself and are period applied.

Were the plastic buttons used on WW2 Gymnastierka Dimas, or are they Bakelite? I agree it could be theater made. The white or light color of the thread in the seams also look a bit odd.

The buttons are Lend-Lease USA made buttons

Hand stitchings was a wide used technology in tailored examples, but thread starter Gimnasterka are too bad quality for a tailored example.

Construction (seams) is very strange, the cloth seems similar to the blouses
with plastic buttons in the last years just before the 1969 reform .
