IMO, it is a pre-1936 example.
I am away from home at the present time, but will look into it upon my return next week.
You may also show it here: www.russiamilitaria.com. Member Denis Rodichev (Ден) is a crack cockarde guy. He will have the most accurate answer for you.
Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam!
Please Dear Colleague, do tell in what forest this was found and your idea from which battle it was lost to the Earth.
Many thanks...

I bought it from digger who lives in Liepaja (Libau), it is in Kurland, Western Latvia. It was sold with different German rubbish, there was also anchor from German Kriegsmarine shoulder board. It could be left by Russians in 1941 or taken by German as souvenir and then thrown out before capitulation in 1945.
