I stand corrected. I looked at my originals again, and the tabs in the above picture are much larger than what is on either of my shinels.

Nice shop. Those other two uniforms are aviation related. Both are M43 parade uniforms (but obviously no one wore them til the victory parade). The first for Naval Aviation (Captain, I believe) and the second for a VVS field grade officer (two columns on cuffs), but missing boards. Too bad the VVS insignia is so moth eaten.

Hello and welcome to our forum.

I do not believe that this is for VVS. It does appear close though due to the low quality of the image.

I do however, believe this mundir is attributed to State Security - 1945 regulation five button front closure with post 1948 cuff and collar insignia (when stamped metal replaced bullion). These lasted until 1956.

For the sake of it, here is an example of 1945-48:

I stand corrected then. I interpreted the color as sky blue, not medium blue and did see the insignia as bullion. Thanks for the clarification.

    Hello Tod,

    You are welcome.

Here are some close-ups of the type of stamped metal insignia that I believe adorns the mundir in question:
