    Hello!

Can somebody say me whether the gimnasterka and trousers are a wartime examples? They are made out of the same, thick cotton cloth. There are no markings whatsoever. It looks that the buttons on the gimnasterka were restore but many years ago.

Are you certain that the fabric is cotton? From the images it appears to me as wool, and of the late 1940s - mid 50s type.

However, Dimas is pretty sharp in dating these gymnasterkas, and associate member Mike Baskette seems to know A LOT about trousers.

So let us see what they will say.
Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam!

Hi Paul, the extra pocket found on the inside for the ID document (seen in pic 5) would make this Gym post war for sure.

    Cheers, Ade.
