    Default Navy overcoat

    Hi
Had it for a while and have had different opinions on this one. It had originally WWII buttons on. RKKA navy uniform description from 1934 has a 6 button overcoat in it. Today i discovered a faint white markings. Nr 3 and unreadable triangular stamp that I have seen on wartime pieces (not on clothes before).
    Any ideas/comments are welcomed.

    Regards
    K.

Kaspar, I think this is a postwar example, the most of the war time examples have not such a sharp angle between the buttons row, it's a more V-type. And the overcoat looks like a factory made, but not a tailored example. Anyway it needs hand examination for a final decission

Dima, thank`s for the reply. I was hoping the stamps would lean it towards the idea it being a war time example. Yes it is factory made piece. But really good quality. It had hog bristles inside the construction of a collar and breast. Like I have seen so far only on tailor made jackets. The left row of buttons were not stitched down but used a long fabric lace to pull them through the wool.
