    Wow. Thanks for the link. Have you seen this sellerĀ“s other items? Do you think they are "good" items?

    Apart from the greatcoat, I like the pilotka and the palatka. If you consider them correct wartime, I would definitively go for them.

    Looks like the honest items- exclude a budionovka- I have doubts about it. But all the aother stuff looks very nice, and I will bid for some of them

    The stamp is fake and it's a postwar coat for sure

    I am not sure whether or not that is necessarily supposed (or intended) to be a "date" stamp...

    I'd love to be wrong about what I am about to say, so if someone has info, lets hear it.

    I strongly suspect that domed shoulderboard buttons without a rim around the perimeter are postwar even if unmarked on back. A possible exception might be the style of the embossed star on them.

    Anyone?
