    Default Officers Cape/Coat

Here is a Плащ накидка/Plash Nakidka, Officers weather protection Cap/Coat. As far as i know this model were only made up to 1942. There are a a few stamps on the inside of the collar. The date stamp is very unclear. It's in great condition, but of course bleached from time, wind and weather. Only one button have repair thread.

    Hi,
Plasch Nakidka beautiful and that is not easy to find. The buttons appear to be compressed leather.
I try to take pictures of my Plash Nakidka tomorrow.
    Regards.

Very nice Philippe Also very good condition. Are the buttons original to the coat? Maybe the later ones as yours were fitted with metal buttons instead of pressed leather. I see yours is stamped "44г". The guy i got mine from was very specific that it's from 1942 or before.

    Thank you Lars !
This is the only button that is, but I think the others were of the same type.
For compressed leather buttons, I think they appear around 1942 (if a member of the information I'm interested). I have a canteen's cover with this type of button, but the date is illegible but I can make you pictures.
You're right, there is a stamper of 1944 and a second in 1942. Why ???
    Regards.

Maybe the 42 stamp is production date and it was reissued in 44? If you can make a pic without too much flash of the 44 stamp i, should be able to translate it. As far as i can see it says something about "Government" a factory abbreviation and РОСТ or ГОСТ number.

Stamps in mine are long gone.

This is pretty much what's written on your stamp Philippe. I don't know how to translate the City name. So it's made in the Moscow region.

    (Г?)ОУПП
    ГОСУДАРСТВЕННАЯ
ШВЕЙНАЯ ФАБРИКА (Ф-КА) Sewing F-KA. F-KA is short for Factory
г. ОРЕХОВО-ЗУЕВО, City very close to Moscow. I have a friend who lives there. Could be fun to find the factory
