    Well done Dom. I am not familiar with this type of Gymnastierka. Why is it without pockets? Also is it Lend-Lease fabric?

    The gymnasterka without pockets are designed to the troops and NCOs.
    No it is not Lend-Lease fabric .

    Thanks Dom! I wish I was there on May 9, 1945 though I'm not decorated so impressively.
    In fact my generation would not wear gimnastyorka while in army. However I do have an unforgettable experience with undercollar sewing and putting 'portyanka's on my foots.
