Question About Russian Gloves And Site
Hello, I am new to this forum and new to collecting Russian. I collect mostly RAF, luftwaffe and AAF flight gear. Recently, I have been trying to put together a Russian ww2 period pilot or aircrewman. You fellows seem like someone who would know much more about collecting Russian than I. I wish to buy article 72046v (gloves for red army pilots) from the link below and so I would like to know if any of you would recommend the gloves and the internet site where they are being listed. Thanks in advance.

Re: Question About Russian Gloves And Site
Hi, and welcome to the forum!
I can recommend the dealer, as comrades from our living history group has used him with no problems. But shipping charges can be high.
You are aware these are sold as repros?
Cheers, Ade.

Re: Question About Russian Gloves And Site
Hello Ade, thanks for your reply. I realized some of the items for sale were repros but I had made a mistake and had thought the gloves were original. Thanks for the information Ade, Since I was in the market for original Russian flight gear, I will not be buying the gloves.

Re: Question About Russian Gloves And Site
I thought I would drop the link below to the gloves we are discussing. As far as I can tell, the gloves are listed as original. I'm not an expert on Russian items.

Re: Question About Russian Gloves And Site
The site sells some repros but the gloves are listed as original and they look original to me. I have compared them to period photos, and I believe they are original. Does anyone else agree or disagree or have an opinion on these gloves?
