Would the experts out there know what rank/branch this visor cap goes with? Guessing its air force due to the blue parts.

Yes an Air Force Officer service dress visor cap. In my opinion you cant say the exact rank. Used by all officers of the Russian Air Force.

Nice Soviet Air force officer hat. As RKKAFan said worn by all Soviet air force officers from Junior Lieutenant to Colonel.
