Re: Red army infantry leutenant, 1941- display
Its harder to obtain than German WW2 as it seems most were worn till threadbare and thrown away . Also in Russia there less opportunity to store than in Europe. The artists cap, being a proffessor was an exception as he was allocated a large flat of 19th c style in the grounds of the academy on Vasilievsky Island

An excellent display with a great deal of dedication on show as well-do you have the M1895 Nagant revolver for the holster?

Nice display! I'd like to do something similar, but for your average enlisted man!

It is quite true!
Were worn till threadbare was the key word in the Red Army

I got an early war other rank on this RKKA uniform section here too. Look for ' RKKA rifleman 1941 uniform and equipment ensemble '
