    Lightbulb Red star pilotka badge

    Hi!
Can anyone help me identifying this piece? Some say late war, some say pre-war... It is magnetic, and it measures ~22-23mm. It is interesting 'cause hammer has a long neck, and sickle is almost straight at the end. I've seen them on pictures, but they remained "unidentified". Any help?

    Hi,

I would not have said pre war, as they should be in 2 pieces (hammer and sickle fits over the star, afixed with 2 prongs on the rear). I would suggest more late war/early post war variant IMO. There are afew others in here that will be able to advise you on this

    Cheers
    Jason

Thanks for your replies! Is there any possibility that it was made in 1944-45.? Cause i got it from an old Tito's partisan, who fought in against "Prinz Eugen" in Bosnia, along with Red army in Belgrade operation and Syrmian Front-he claims that he got it in war.

Unable to tell exactly from that image.

Photograph them individually and more qualitatively and maybe we can...

Wartime stars are readily available and currently reasonably priced.
