Rkka rifleman 1941 uniform and equipment ensemble.

Thought id start photographing my uniforms and equipment collected . This M35 gymnastiorka is in a fine cotton canvas style ,like a poncho palasch palatka and interestingly doesnt unbutton at the cuff. The bayonet scabbard i got restored but its all original . The respirator satchel has its thin strap replaced with what seems to be a rifle sling ,making it far abler to carry the heavy mask and filter !

Interesting. I have never seen this very light color Gymnastierka before. What type of pack is he carrying?

Thanks Guys , Its the official issue 1938 backpack , well made and comforable to wear ,though of small capacity . The colour is faded as dyes wash out leaving a plethora of shades . The soviet interpretation of
khaki never being as standardised as in the west .
