Here are some photos of by sharovari breeches. They are undated but, as with the gymnasterka I posted on my previous message, they are most probably a post war specimen. I would appreciate your comments.

The model is as a war time and I will say it's a post 47, and pre 55 year, if the trousers has not "mosshtamp" button and the stamp with first M in the abbreviature МЛШП-MLSchP
then it's not a big difference between war time made and postwar made
Anyway you can display them with soviet ww2 original gimnasterka and this will be nice

Hi Gus, I would agree with Dimas.

These are still very nice items and not that easy to find.

    Cheers, Ade.

    Thanks for your reply.

What I still donīt have clear is if they belonged to a soldier or an officer. I always thought the lack of knee reinforcements indicated that it was an officer garment, but if I understood correctly Dimasīs comment in another thread regarding sharovaris, it is the contrary, at least for a GPW specimen.

    Am I right?

    Regards,

    Gus

Yes- knee reinforcement is just a vary, most of the war time trousers without reinforcement. The soldiers and officers garment - no difference. Just the officer has a choise- get the uniforms from the stock or get the money instead for tailoring.

    Hi,
Here are the photos of trousers that I found in France (volunteers from the East) there is 2 years.
It is dated 1941 and a few buttons have been changed and it is reinforced knees.

Here are the photos of another trousers, which was reduced by a French prisoner of war released by the Red Army.
The cut is different, it has a pocket behind. The date is almost erased, but you come to read 1944.
