I need an opinion on these bakelite buttons. They are being sold as wartime Soviet buttons, but I can't be 100% sure about that. What do you think? Wartime, post-war, or from some Soviet satellite country?

These are Bulgarian. IMO, mid/late 1940s.
An eBay seller has been trying to sell examples of these for years as "Soviet" - and continues trying to do so, despite being informed about the "unintentional misrepresentation"...

Well.......perhaps not..............LOL!!!! It's okay........they were cheap enough. I might yet find a use for them.

I have a friend who paints the star red, and used them for his partisan gear.
