    Hello all.

I'm looking for a WW2 pattern camouflage suit and a prospective seller has sent the image below from a 2 piece leaf pattern example.

I know light can play tricks, but does anyone have an opinion on the weave and thickness of the material?

It looks coarse to me, similar to much later suits.

    Any thoughts?

These are the only other images I have.

Unfortunately they don't address the specific question of fabric.

I'm not 100% sure the close up is from the same garment as the inside of the trousers looks significantly thicker (less bleed through). Could just be the light.

The close-up seems to show a sort of diamond pattern weave that I don't recognise from wartime garments.

Thank you for the pictures There are details that I like well. I think the whole is authentic but it is a camouflage that was made during and after war.

Thank you for your opinion Phillipe. I've been comparing the close-up to some of Espenlaub's. The material looks similar.

Do you think $350 is a reasonable price to pay for a suit like this?

For the price it is ok (for me)..

    The hood and the smock?

That is a little odd. I hadn't noticed.

They are sewn together as I understand it.
