    That is a officers tag from the 1980's era

    Hi Dean, I have never seen these before. I am thinking they are really suspect. I think they are most likely fantasy items.

    I think someone with a limited knowledge of Russian and the cyrilic alaphabet has stamped them up. One has been done to represent "RKKA" (Red Army) where as the other would be for "KGB".

    This is actually good news. I couldn't believe that such low numbers were actually counting something. The fact that the letters are not part of the serial, but a label makes this even more true.

    The second such will not find in the Soviet army, such counters stood out in an one way, Ж-262876 - personal number of the officer and seems corresponded, to number of the identification card of the officer though here I can be mistaken, was repeatedly produced only in case of loss

Полк до WW1 стоял в Привислинском крае, современная Польша, польские коллеги находили также жетоны 21пехотного Муромского полка и других... Полк принадлежал 2-ой бригаде 5-ой пехотной дивизии
