Interior seams on the sleeves and on the sides are strange and seem brittle .
What do you conclude from this?

Thank you for your comments. I have just noticed evidence of sleeve chevrons. My understanding is sleeve chevrons were abolished in 1943.

This gym belonged to a pre war officer as it was split from other pre war pieces. The type of wool and shade. sleeve chevrons ghost shadow Shows its been in the earlier pattern and upgraded. This was done at different levels during the chaotic wartime era .many collectors want to see same traits as in European construction. It's from a senior officer as far as I was told ( The chevrons are large , major and above) and was 200 pounds when i bought it in St petersburg in 2008
