    It appears to be a nice, genuine M43 Kitel. If the buttons are original to the tunic, then it could date from 1943–1946 for a General or above.

    Unfortunately, I've always been a bit ignorant, and also skeptical of these high ranking shoulder-boards though, I.E.; Chief Marshal - Signals in this instance, so I am unable comment further.
