1937 Pattern BD blouse badged to a major of the Royal Signals

A BD blouse of the 1937 Pattern, with a lovely early date of production (september 1940) badged to a Major of the Royal Signals. Several interesting features: buttons are hard plastic, not bakelite nor brass, while the lining is of a green shade much the same of the lining of this late war 1940 Pattern BD blouse: Late war 5th Division RASC driver BD blouse
So it is quite evident that green fabric was used to line BD blouse in early phases of the war as well. In one of the front pockets there were still the six cloth pips that were sewn on the shoulder straps when the original owner was still a Captain. Please notice the single Signals blue cloth backing. i can not really make it out whether on the arms is there the outline of some formation signs or not.
