Sorry I can't tell you what company the marking stands for but I agree that it is an Australian one as I recall having that exact marking on MkII basic pouches I have owned in the past.

I can tell you that your item was made by Ruskin Motor Bodies Party, Limited of Melbourne, so it is Australian-made. Here is a thread on Australian webbing if you are interested...

1941 is quite an early date for RMB! The only Ruskin items I have seen with this date are Mk2 pouches for the "Foresight, Bar, Deflection, Mk1" for the .303 Vickers MMG. Do you have any pictures of your item?
