Default 442nd Regimental Combat Team Uniform

Here is a uniform that was worn by PFC Arthur Iwasaki. I am putting together some more history about Mr. Iwasaki which I will add soon. I am looking for the correct WWII DUI's for this uniform. Unless I'm wrong they did not use the "go for Broke" DUI until after the war. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    Burt

    A lot of GI's didn't wear DI's.

Mr. Iwasaki did not remember having any DUI's but I would like to find out which one the 442nd would have worn in WWII. I think it would be a nice addition to his uniform.

    Thanks

Well I found a "Go For Broke" DUI hidden in my collection. I was able to show the completed uniform to Mr. Iwasaki last weekend. I had my display at the last showing of the Traveling Vietnam Wall before being retired to a Army base back East. This was the first time I had actually met him. He had a big smile when he saw his uniform with all of his medals on it. 93 Years old and still going strong. It was a great honor to meet one of the brave soldiers of the 442nd Regimental Combat team.
