I went to an auction last week-end, which had a few military items. One of the items was this WW2 Eisenhower jacket, it sold for 900 bucks? It must have been the skull patch on the left sleeve .I have never seen this patch before, can anyone ID it?

This is the rare Ranger patch. Troops from the Div who took part in the Ranger course held at Camp McCoy in Wisconsin from April 12th to June 5th 1943, were awarded this patch.

I have never seen one the skull patches, but Ade has seen almost everything

The skull might be for some sort of special operations or regiment definetly a patch I have not seen before
