    Is this label from an Australian made BD blouse? If it is Australian made, can someone help on what the market price for this would be? The pics are the sellers.

    Gday Jerry,
    I think Aussie made WW2 Battle Dress is not so easy to find.I've seen jacket's sell for around $200.00 AU. but these may be exceptions.
    Rene may be able to give you a more precise answer.

    Not a type tag I've in my lot, could be a Canadian jacket. But I really need to see more detail

    Thanks. So not a known Australian maker I assume or label format? Is PTY something typically seen in Australian company names, as it's not something used in Britain? I googled Brakes PTY and it lead me to Australian companies, though to do with car brakes rather than clothing.

    Found a image of an example of an Australian tag.Not sure how many manufacturers produced this style of garment in this country during WW2 though.Sorry I can't be of more help mate.

    It's a hard one as Aust record of mfg where efficiently removed after the war! this is a record vaguely complied
