This type of khaki backed RFC wings, or at least some similar ones with a different crown was the subject of some heated debate recently, so perhaps best to wait for opinions, though sadly they might be conflicting.

Oh I remember that not a very "happy family moment" .
while im sure there are better opinions than mine, but it looks more like a film uniform set of wings to me.
